Choose one game on a familiar skill and stop after several successful rounds. This works as a warm-up or a calm transition between activities.

A ten-minute routine

Use 5–7 minutes of play and 2–3 minutes of talk: ‘what was hardest?’, ‘how did you check?’, ‘could you solve it another way?’ Talking makes the strategy more explicit.

A fifteen-minute routine

Use one digital game plus one offline extension. After fractions, divide a paper circle; after word games, make a sentence; after a maze, draw a route of your own.
